NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT
A Vacancy has arisen in the Office of Councillor for the Parish Council.
If you are a Local Government Elector for the above area you may request that an election is held to fill the vacancy. This must be put in writing and hand delivered to Tim Clegg the Returning Officer c/o The Elections Office Stafford Borough Council, Civic Centre, Riverside, Stafford ST16 3AQ (Tel: 01785 619424) by no later than Thursday, 19 June 2025. If ten local government electors, make this request an election will be held. (Please ensure that you receive a receipt for your request)
If a request for an election is not received by the above deadline, then the Parish Council will co-opt a person to fill the vacancy as soon as practicable in accordance with the Local Elections (Parishes & Communities) (England & Wales) Rules 2006.

- Nomination papers may be obtained from the offices of the Deputy Returning Officer, Stafford Borough Council, Civic Centre, Riverside, Stafford, ST16 3AQ, during the times stated below.
- Nomination papers must be delivered to the Deputy Returning Officer at Stafford Borough Council, Civic Centre, Riverside, Stafford, ST16 3AQ between 9 am and 5 pm on any working day from the date of publication of this notice (excluding bank holidays) but no later than 4pm on Wednesday 2 April 2025.
- If any election is contested the poll will take place on Thursday, 1st May 2025.
- Applications to register to vote must reach the Electoral Registration Officer by 12 midnight on Friday, 11th April 2025Applications can be made online: www.gov.uk/register-to-vote.
