Cllr Denise Bishop – Vice Chairman
I joined the Parish Council in 2021.
I am currently a director and administrator of a private company within the automotive sector. ln my spare time l am secretary of the Swynnerton W.I. and have donated a peg to the Swynnerton Angling Club and have been an active participant in the Best Kept Village Competition and organising various outside activities for adults and children during recent lockdowns.
Cllr Enrique Mateu
l joined the Parish Council in 2015 as a Member for Swynnerton Ward.
I worked as a doctor and psychiatrist for the NHS & HM Prisons for many years until I retired. Currently I am the local Speed Watch organiser and l have also been a Director of the Swynnerton Garden Association for a number of years. l am also active with my local church.
Cllr John Deaville
I was co-opted onto the Parish Council in 2023. I have lived at Groundslow, Tittensor for over 30 years and therefore have a wide knowledge of the Parish and surrounding area.

Cllr Nicola Adams
I joined the council in 2015 as a Member for Trentham Ward when I lived there. I was the first person to join while actually residing there for many years. I have since moved to just outside Trentham.
I am now retired having worked in various roles within the NHS.
Cllr Norman Leeson
I am a retired management and business transformation consultant with
International experience across the UK, Europe, the Middle East and the USA.
I have been a councillor for Swynnerton Parish Council in the past for some 9 years but took a break to care for my father during the pandemic.
I volunteer for Staffordshire County Council and Stoke City Council in school admission and exclusion appeals and also volunteer for the NHS at their Leadership academy where they are involved in improving the patient focus.

Cllr Patricia Cheadle
I joined Swynnerton Parish Council in 2023.
I have lived in Swynnerton and the surrounding areas for my entire life.
I worked as a Special Needs Teacher for over 35 years at a school in the potteries until I retired. I am a volunteer at UHNM NHS trust.
I am passionate about the village and our local area. I play an active role in keeping the village maintained and tidy to help with the best kept village.
I also volunteer at my local church.
Cllr Peter Marsh
I joined Swynerton Parish Council in 2023 and have lived in Tittensor for 30 years.
I retired in 2011 from Michelin plc where I was the factory director at Stoke.
I was a council member of the Staffordshire Chamber of Commerce, a director of Business Initiative, and served on the North Staffordshire Partnership board.
On retiring I volunteered as a Business Mentor for the chamber for several years and was the financial director of a large motor racing club.
I am currently a member of the Tittensor speed watch team and help organise and participate in vintage car racing.
Cllr Roy James – Chairman
I joined Swynnerton Parish Council in 2021.
l am a retired senior Naval Officer with a post-graduate degree in Marketing. l have numerous years in the retail trade and assisting my wife in the running of a busy Post Office.
I am a serving Borough Councillor and a previous Parish Councillor and Parish Council Chairman.
Cllr Terry Love
I joined the Parish Council in 2021.
I have lived in Tittensor since 1998 and previously lived in Beech so l know the area and community well and have always been a supporter of local communities and businesses.
I volunteer and help set up community radio stations in Staffordshire and Cheshire and run a weekly Community Auction raising money for the Midlands Air Ambulance, Douglas Macmillan Hospice and local Best Kept Village campaigns.
I am also the Co-ordinator of our new Community SpeedWatch for the Hanchurch and Trentham areas and Vice-Chairman and Trustee of Tittensor Village Hall.
